Yoga Week at Villa Plantat is geared toward individual development, fully experiencing the work, feeling joy, and having fun. Our beloved teacher, Anna Walsemann, has been a dancer and a teacher for over 35 years. Appropriate for all levels, the daily, two-hour classes follow Yinyasa (flow) style with traditional and nontraditional postures linking breath to movement. In addition to daily classes, there are daily special events focusing on Pranayama (breathing), Qigong, Tai Chi, restorative poses, partner yoga and more. Because the retreat is limited to ten people, we are able to truly commit to individual growth and attention.
We swim in our spring-fed lake, hike in the deep forests and explore the magnificent 400 acres at Villa Plantat, as well as venture into nearby villages to find the best preserved Roman ruins in the world, charming town stores and lively festivals. Golf, tennis, fishing, horseback riding, etc. are all near by.
For each meal, guests are invited to dine together, sharing local wine and gourmet French cuisine. The sweet air and quiet evenings at Plantat are a perfect for making new, boisterous friends, reconnecting with old ones, but also for a private, reflective and calming experience.
Included in the price (along with everything) is a bedroom in the Villa. Each room is elegant and unique, as a true 1830 Estate should be! With high ceilings, balconies, terraces, l'orangerie and old stone walls, it is an enchanting home.
We offer massage, aroma therapy, flower remedy etc. Please let us know if you'd like any other information. We would be very happy to welcome you at Villa Plantat!
Most of the meals are made from vegetables picked fresh from our amazing Chef, Huguette's garden!
