Adventure in Tuscany
Experience the beautiful Italian countryside as few people will ever see it. This peaceful journey takes you to la Cerreta, a family-run organic farm in the Tuscan hills. Our adventure stands on five pillars: balance, community, discovery, expression, and focus. You'll experience and learn so much on this trip about yourself, the local Tuscan culture, unbelievable Italian cooking, and organic farming. Activities include daily yoga, Italian cooking classes, horseback riding, wine and cheese making, organic farming, soaking in the hot springs, beautiful lodging, forest walks, and, best of all, three, multi-course, handmade, organic meals every day.
Into the Green is a small company, and we like to keep it that way. This allows us to tailor our trips for our participants. We ask that participants come with an open heart, willing to share themselves with a wonderful community of people. Into the Green Adventures integrate the yoga practice and the outdoors. In beautiful locations around the country and across the ocean you'll find relaxation, gain physical strength and flexibility, grow in your practice along with a caring community of people, create a powerful connection to the land, eat mouth-watering cuisine, and have lots of light-hearted, stress-melting fun! Join us to cultivate a renewed sense of peace, live in harmony with the earth, and bring balance into your life.
At the heart of our Adventures rests the belief that yoga is more than an exercise—it is a practice. We strive to make every part of our Adventures as green and eco-friendly as we can. This guiding principle is central to Into the Green. We infuse this philosophy into what we teach. Into the Green begins with you, your body, and your breath. From there, we'll guide you to develop a calmer, more relaxed mind. Whether you're new to yoga or new to the outdoors or you're an experienced practitioner or outdoor enthusiast, Into the Green Adventures create memories and experiences that last a lifetime.
Workshops on our Adventures include partner and group yoga, Thai Yoga massage, restorative yoga, meditation, and more! Then, we take the yoga practice off the mat—whether that's canoeing on a lake, harvesting fresh vegetables, or hiking in the mountains. Finally, you'll take what you find from yoga—focus, calm, and awareness-back into your daily life.

• Yoga: Into the Green workshops place a strong emphasis on the breath. We’ll develop or hone this foundation that moves us into a practice that both flows and works on gross and subtle alignment. • Farming: We’ll get our hands dirty helping Vilma and Daniele on their 76-acre farm. From olive orchards and pomegranate trees to vineyards and chestnut groves you will learn about farming that is fully certified by the Italian Association for Organic Agriculture. We’ll tour the vineyard and see how they make wine, explore the farm, sample homemade cheeses, wines, honey, and more. • Cooking: Vilma will demonstrate her magic at Italian cooking. If you’re interested, you’ll have a chance to try your hand at it, too, with a cooking class. • Hiking: Day hikes may vary in length from three to eight miles, all on roads or trails. • Thermal Pools: La Cerreta just tapped into the hot springs they have on site. You’ll be able to relax here during the week. • Thai Massage: Leigh Ann practices this healing art and will be available for appointments during free time. • Horseback Riding: Daniele runs a program called Equiharmony where he works with the horses humanely, in harmony. We’ll learn about this program and have the opportunity to go riding during the week! • Town Visit: Tiny medieval villages dot the Tuscan countryside near la Cerreta. We’ll visit one or more of these small towns. • Eating: Enjoy three multi-course, organic, hand-made meals every day. |
