Yoga Breaks In Spain have been running inspiring yoga holidays for 5 years in the Alicante region of Spain. We use two carefully selected hotels &, dependent on the time of year, you can choose a holiday in the mountains or by the sea. The Hotel Alahuar in the mountains has the most amazing views, abundant wildlife and excellent air quality that ensures your sleep is deep and replenishing. By contrast the Hotel Chamarel is in a pretty coastal town near the beach & some great Spanish architecture, tapas bars & a castle to explore. Originally a grand private town house, The Chamarel has been sympathetically converted into a beautiful hotel, stylishly furnished and objects and art from across the globe.
Both hotels are really very special. Each with less than 20 rooms which guarantees friendly, attentive service. All bedrooms are double or twin bedded with modern en-suite bathrooms. Dining at these hotels is first class! Nourishing, fresh Mediterannean food to optimise your well-being. Vegetarians are well catered for at both too.
Each holiday includes half board accommodation (breakfast & dinner), twice daily yoga, guided walks, picnic lunches, therapies, workshops, mountain biking and painting. Everything is optional, so you have plenty of time to relax and soak up the sun.

The day starts with a wake up and stretch yoga class whilst the rising sun warms the world outside. Breakfast is around 10am, by which time you'll be feeling ready for the fresh fruits, juices, cereals, hams, cheeses, eggs, toasts and jams - an excellent start to the day!
Then we head out for a guided walk, enjoying the scenery and fresh air stopping for a picnic to admire the views. Some mornings are spent on a leisurely tour of the area by minibus, or simply relax by the pool. Around lunchtime, you might feel ready for a light dish of tapas or fresh fish.
The afternoons are varied and depending on the day may include a range of therapies such as aromatherapy massage, pedicure, reflexology, luxurious facials, reiki or Indian head treatments. Mountain biking with a local guide, an art class or a personal nutrition consultation are options too. All here to help you recharge. The day draws to a close with a sundown yoga class before dinner either at the hotel or a local restaurant. Dinners are all 3 course with fresh and tasty dishes to provide your body with optimal nutrition, time always for a chat and wind down before bed.

| Our Certificatons |
All Yoga Teachers are professionally trained & qualified following a full (min 2 year) training course. Our teachers hold either the British Wheel of Yoga teacing diploma or the FRYOG Teaching Diploma (Friends of Yoga).
All other fitness professional & therapists that we employ have qualifications relevant to their industry. We request and check references for all teachers to verify their experience and training. |
