My son has Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD). He is 14 years
old. We took him to many, many MDs, Psychologists, Psychiatrists, ect, etc.
They all said the same thing. His ADD is so mild that they could not prescribe
drugs - he would grow out of it - but it could take years.
The Psychiatrist was an expert on children and he recommended Yoga to help my
son focus, prevent his mind from wandering in the classroom, direct his energy
to his study, be alert and aware of his surroundings and the tasks at hand.
My son is an A student who often gets 0% and 30%s because he forgets to read
the last page of a test, doesn''''t participate because forgets he is in a
classroom, cannot remember the homework assigned or when there will be a test.
It is frustrating for me and my wife - a teacher!
What techniques do we use? (My son is thin doesn''''t need to lose weight or tone
his muscles.)

Hello.
Please do not refer me to a site on using drugs for ADD (Attention Deficient Disorder) . My son's ADD is too mild for that.
Thank you.
