Hi Guys! I'm also a yoga noob! I started doing Yoga a just couple of weeks ago. I used to have chronic back aches all the time before I started Yoga. But now, no more back aches... well, almost. Hope I can learn more yoga techniques from advance yoga practioners here.

it's good to read materials when you're starting...to get an idea of what you're getting yourself into. but the best way to really learn is to practice, speaking for myself, to say the least. have you started yet?:)

Reading first is a smart thing to do. I salute you for that but you really have to practice it already to actually assess your strength and weaknesses so that you can do something about and in no time you will do the practice perfectly!Good Luck!

smart thing to do. Don't be afraid to go right on and perform all the things which you have learned from all hose reading materials. Start already. True experience of yoga will enhance more of your knowledge when it comes to this practice. I think you are already capable of doing things right.

Hi lau2,

Its been a long time you have posted the above question right. If you have not yet started practicing Yoga then I should advice you to start immediately, should not be delayed any more. Please find out a Yoga studio & a Yoga teacher and start....................................

If you find any difficulties then we can discuss ok.

Dear Yasoda,

It is very nice to know that you are going to appear in the exam for your Hatha Yoga Teachers Training course. But this news is not surprising for me you know. You are so matured and well equipped (with your studies) that I always used to think you are already a Yoga Teacher. Anyway Yasoda how to conduct Yoga class is a part of Yoga TTC. And I hope you will be doing it very nicely & successfully. But don’t keep this idea in your mind that you are appearing in an exam; your students are your classmate right? I hope they will be cooperative with each others. And don’t think about your teacher, who will be also attending your class as a student. I don’t know the way they guide you people there in your place! However, during your class please try to give your verbal & physical assistance to all your students properly. This is the main qualities of a good Yoga teacher. It really doesn’t matter how perfect you are in postures or advanced postures. But it is matter how you guide your students to perform the yoga postures & techniques correctly and safely. Tell the limitations before you start a posture and benefits after performing postures. We do so, I don’t know Yasoda, how they guided you. However Yasoda, you please follow the system or techniques they taught you in your TTC. I wish you good luck.

God bless you Yasoda

Thanks Yasodha,

Thanks for your kind appreciation. However, I’m not so great as you said, haha....

I’m as good as bad as you are. Yes Yasoda, only age difference is there, I have arrived in this beautiful world just 5 or 6 years before you. Thats it........... It is true that I’m a Yoga teacher and it is also true you will be a Yoga teacher soon! So I wish you good lick Yasoda........

By the way Yasoda, I think you should not be so worried, as Krishna will be there to save his mother from all types of miseries and sufferings.

I will be happy Yasoda to share my experience with you any time in future.

God bless you
