In this website i searched for yogic mudra. I could not find one.
Mudras are Palm and finger positions adopted while doing meditation. they are meditational mudra. And there are therapeutic mudras which are for the treatment of physical disorder.
It is a fascinating subject. Each finger represents different elements.Thumb represents Fire, Index finger represents Wind, Middle ginger represents Space, Ring finger represents Earth and small finger represents water.To balance these elements different mudras are designed.
If we connect the top of the thumb to any upper tip of the finger, corresponding element is increased and if we touch the root of the finer with the thumb -tip, the corresponding element is decreased.This mudrra as useful as asanas.
I wonder whether this subject is covered in this website.
