When you hear the word “Yoga”, what normally comes to mind are the words meditation, weight loss program, complicated poses, flexibility, and a whole lot more. Although all these words really point to yoga, the forms of it commercialized to the masses today have become more specific on a certain goal and target of achievement. Justifying the common forms of yoga, there are those which focus on different stance or poses which really aims to shed and tone the body. You also have those types that focus on breathing and having a clearer state of mind. Looking at the common denominator of all the types of yoga, you will be able to find that the practice itself digs deep and provides improvement all throughout.
Focusing on the way that yoga works, “Dahn” or “Dhanak” (a Korean term where “Dahn” means vitality, energy, and origin of life, and “Hak” meaning study, philosophy and theory) is one form of yoga that targets first about accessing the mind, taking control from that area, and everything else will follow. It is a more in-depth way of managing the body, achieving a good state of well-being not only for individuals but also for families and social groups.
