Learn Ishta Yoga with Rachel Zinman on June 10-11

Ishta Yoga is a contemporary form of Yoga that combines a number of Yoga traditions. This form aims to develop a personal Yoga practice that meets the individual's needs. The two-day workshop will be conducted by Rachel Zinman. By attending the workshop, participants will learn the basics of Ishta Yoga through asana, pranayama and meditation. According to Zinman's website, the two three-hour classes will explore the following:
- A revitalizing vinyasa practice that suits all levels
- Pranayamas that invigorate the body and purify the mind.
- The Ishta diksha meditation, a Kriya yoga meditation that promotes peace in the mind and strength in the heart.
- The philosophy of tantra and ayurveda and how to apply these ancient sciences to your daily life on and off the Mat
