Yoga Classes in Kerala Prison Proposed

India - Yoga may be introduced to Kerala prison if plans push through.
State health minister P.K. Sreemathy has said that she will do her part so that yoga will be introduced in Kerala prison. "We will have to work out a scheme for this and I will do my bit for this," she said. Screemathy believes that yoga could provide solace for tensed prisoners.
Screemathy proposes that yoga classes would be taught by a responsible organization. She notes what had happened in Kannur Jail, where problems developed because yoga classes were taught by a mystic.
