Yoga introduced to Sex Workers in India

India - In the Shivdaspur area of Varanasi and in Delhi's GB Road red light district, sex workers were introduced to the art of yoga.
Bhartiya Patita Uddhar Samiti, an organization devoted to the welfare of prostitutes, and the Friends Society initiated the project and plan to teach yoga to sex workers throughout the country. Ashish Agarwal, Friends Society president, says that yoga classes would be held in more than 1,100 red light districts in India.
The president of Bhartiya Patita Uddhar Samiti says that yoga will help sex workers keep themselves mentally and physically fit.
