Scottsdale Yoga Studio Launches Series of Retreats

Touch with Intention has partnered with Scottsdale yoga and spin studio, studiYo, to offer a series of couple's workshops. The four-hour, Touch with Intention workshops are designed to create greater clarity, communication and connection for couples through yoga and massage."The Touch with Intention workshops teach couples the ABC's of massage and increase their awareness of verbal and non-verbal cues," said Jenn Kaye, founder of Touch with Intention. "All of our massage and yoga exercises are designed to provide participants with a toolbox of ways to promote a greater understanding of each other, as well as enhancing intimacy and romance."
The workshop includes:
Hour 1: Introduction to basic yoga poses and gentle stretching
Hour 2: Introduction and application of basic massage techniques and communication cues
Hour 3: Verbal exercises that enable couples to let go of resentment, honor each other and rekindle their connection
Hour 4: Massage instruction for the back and neck
It will be held on June 10, from 10 am to 2 pm at studiYo 4408 N. Miller Rd. Scottsdale, Ariz. 85251 (Southwest corner of Camelback and Miller Roads next to Sunflower Market). The four-hour workshop costs $199 per couple, which includes a light lunch and two free yoga classes at studiYo following the workshop. Registration is limited to 10 couples per class.
