A Bollywood actress will be releasing a DVD yoga later this year.Yoga has been known to be a fashion statement in the West.
Shilpa Shetty is currently filming a yoga DVD in India's Kerala state, accordi ng to her publicist. She will give advises on how to stay trim and fit with normal diet plus how she maintains her figure. The Bollywood actress underwent intensive training program to ensure she perfected the "asanas" or "postures" for the DVD. The two hour DVD will be market overseas later this year.
Known to have the best figure in Bollywood, thirty-one year old Shetty became a popular actress in India after winning the British reality show "Celebrity Big Brother". She will play a lead role later this year in a musical "Miss Bollywood" which will open in Germany.

A long yoga workshop will be held in Toronto on October 12. Famous yoga guru Swami Ramdev who recently toured US and Britain will teach a unique brand of pranayama exercises.
The yoga workshop will pro vide participants an opportunity to invoke their innermost centre of excellence plus they will also learned the how to apply the benefits of yoga in personal relationships.
"The week-long workshop will provide an opportunity to Canadians to get a feel for the anatomy of poses and pranayama, where asana and Buddhist mindfulness merge," said Anil Bhasin, spokesperson for the workshop.

There will be a yoga class open for anyone and everyone on Labor Day. On Monday, September 3, 2007, the Dallas Metroplex Yoga Community is hosting A Free Day of Yoga which will be conducted by local yoga teachers. S
ixty classes will be offered at 35 facilities.
Michelle Mock who is the event organizer said "this is a joint endeavour to introduce the community to yoga in a non intimidating way. Some people won't try it because they think it's for skinny, flexible people." This is a great opportunity to try yoga for the first time and for others to experience a different style of yoga.
Classes will be held beginning early morning and continue into the evening. There will be one giant community class at the new One Arts Plaza in downtown Dallas as a grand finale to the Free Day of Yoga.

The Spa & Wellness weekends will be hosted by New York City-based Jo Hook, founder of Avatar Yoga Retreats and Body as an Instrument, a holistic fitness program.
