Yoga for Mothers and Toddlers in West Lafayette

INDIANA - Sunayana Ferrer, a native of Puerto Rico, is offering a new Yoga Together course in West Lafayette. It is a different type of yoga session which involves mothers and their toddlers. The course uses playful techniques that can be enjoyed by children under the age of six. Ferrer said, “This is not a class for losing weight. It’s for spending quality time with your child, hugging, kissing, being silly. It’s for bonding.”
The course costs $60 for six weeks but discount new student passes are available for $20 for the last three classes of a session.
Ferrer sets a theme for each class to help keep the toddlers’ attention. According to her, the children usually learn to stay on their mats and play quietly after a few weeks of classes.
