Rainy Waters Yoga Offers Classes this Spring

Rainy Waters Yoga offers classes to those who want to strengthen the body, quiet the mind, and lift the spirit. The spring session began on March 10 and will end on May 1. The classes are designed for the beginner to learn the breathing techniques and postures. There are also exercises for the physically fit, those who are not accustomed to exercise, or to those who have illness or disabilities. Meditation techniques and exercises are also offered to keep people focused on the body and mind.
The spring classes are divided into: basic yoga, Level 1, and Level 2. The basic yoga class explores the basics of Hatha yoga. Level 1 is an introduction to the flow method with emphasis on stretching exercises called sun salutations, while Level 2 uses sun salutation variations, more complex postures, and some inversions.
Rainy Waters Yoga is located in the Dancing Sky Wellness Center in Faith United Church, at 1001 5th St. in International Falls.
