Yoga Instructor Raises Funds for SmileTrain

John Calabria, a yoga instructor, recently led a yoga class which was held in Framinghan Studio in Massachusetts to raise funds for SmileTrain, a non-profit organization that helps children in developing nations who were born with cleft palate regain a normal life by providing free cleft palate surgeries.
Mystic Fitness owner Amy Karibian lent her Framingham Studio so Calabria can hold his special yoga event. Calabria's initial goal was to raise at least $500, enough to fund two surgeries. However, many yoga enthusiasts participated in the event and Calabria was able to raise $2,500.
SmileTrain helps children get a new life with free cleft palate surgeries. The organization has helped more than 300,000 kids.
