The dynamic duo that make up the Future Sound of Yoga have been busy since their recent return to Sydney from a stay in the UK over the European summer.
Armed with new music to inspire the crowds at their FSOY gigs, Matt and Angel Singmin are also founding partners of the new Modern Yoga Collective as well as the Phoenix Weekend – a weekend of yoga, dance and music set to delight the yogi fraternity the coming February 2012.
In their own words, ‘the Modern Yoga Collective is about bringing progressive, cutting-edge teachers in a variety of styles to Bondi Beach.’
Starting in September, they are offering four weekly classes with Simon Borg-Olivier, Mark Breadner, Lauren Falconer and Angel Singmin.
The FSOY are also founders of the Phoenix weekend – a weekend of yoga, music, meditation and dance. The Phoenix Weekend is held from 3-5 February 2012 on Mangrove Mountain outside Sydney and brings together yoga teachers such as Mark Whitwell, Simon Borg-Olivier, John Ogilvie and Katy Appleton, as well as Zenthai Shiatsu teacher Gwyn Williams and singer Daphnet Tse.
The weekend promises to be a packed with yoga, meditation, laughter, music and dancing. In the words of one participant from Phoenix 2010 it was Exhilarating, replenishing and enlightening.
