Pregnancy Yoga 500 Hr Teacher Training
Six Senses Yoga Society offers yoga training, knowing there are many paths that lead to the same truth. Thus, we invite open dialogue, self-growth, experimentation, open hearts and an authentic voice in a solid foundation of Traditional Yoga with an advanced study in Pregnancy Yoga.
Our training is influenced by the teachings of Shri Tirumalai Krishnamacharya and his son TKV Desikachar. Their philosophy of yoga is what defines yoga as we know it today; their influence is boundless on all styles of yoga. Our premise is that yoga is taught, whether in a private or class setting, with the individual’s needs in mind.
Unique to the Six Senses Yoga Certificate
The approach to facilitating our Yoga Training is a combination of oral, aural, kinetic and written instruction and observation; for assignments submissions you have the choice of the same combinations. SSYS encourages participants to use all their senses and to use the ones best suited to them for learning. You receive all course materials in a combination of DVD, CD and books formats. You have a generous amount of time to complete assignments. The tutors are available via e-mail, chat and phone for help.
SSYS encourages you to join our journey into yoga for a deeper understanding of yourself and the Arts of Yoga exploring of the nature of yoga through the ears, heart, touch, eyes, smells, tastes and through the subconscious and consciousness mind.
