Maya Tulum is an enticing destination bathed by the magical warm waters of the Caribbean Sea in the Yucatan Peninsula. It lies at the entrance of Sian Ka'an National Park (Mayan for 'where the sky is born'), an intact biosphere reserve of lagoons, mangroves, tropical rainforest and beautiful beaches. The Tulum Ruins is the largest Mayan construction built on the coast, only 5km North of Maya Tulum. The pyramids of Coba lie isolated in the jungle, only 45 minutes inland. Beautiful fresh water cenotes abound everywhere in the jungle. Maya Tulum is an excellent location for activites such as snorkeling, swimming and exploring. The reef is an invitation to discover an underwater paradise of colored fish, coral and other marine life.
