Yoga Teacher Training
A good illustration for transformation is water becoming vapor. The change is instant, either water, or vapor, nothing in-between.
Transformation in this course is from “gradual fixing and improving ourselves” into “being whole and complete”. It is also the transformation from “non-acceptance” to ‘love for ourselves”.
This course offers powerful tools and supportive space for loving and watching your self. The Yoga Sutras boldly proclaims: “You are the Lord” and offers a map for exploration of wholeness by dividing it into the five illusory parts:
Anamaya Kosha -----------------Physical body (or “Food Body) Pranamaya Kosha----------------Energy body Manamaya Kosha----------------Mind body Vigyanmaya Kosha--------------Wisdom or intuitive body Anandamaya Kosha--------------Bliss body
It is important to remember that the above is not some dogma, but only a working map.
The methodology is to “fully inhabit each body”, to experience them in their totality. Through complete experience of the first body, the second body becomes available and so on. Mastering each of these five “bodies” requires different methods/techniques.
The first body: Positions, movement, the foods we eat, conscious relaxation, bringing repressed aspects of body back to consciousness.
The second body, the “Energy Body”: clearing emotional blocks, increasing overall level of energy, mastery of emotions, awareness of energy flow, full aliveness.
The third body -- The mastery of thoughts, beliefs and values. Freedom from limiting beliefs, ability to make conscious choices.
The fourth body opening to subtle information known only from “lucid dreams”, visions, intuition, the “past lives memories” and “collective unconscious”.
The fifth: bliss is the natural emanation of pure consciousness. Bliss surrounds us; beyond bliss there is only pure consciousness.
Daily we will practice meditation or one of Osho's Meditative Therapies. By practicing cathatric meditation every day, we will unravel and unwrap the layers of our being. Quite opposite from becoming something, or adding anything, this is a removal process which simply lets us see what is already here.
We will focus on practicing classical asana, sun salutations, kundalini yoga, tibetan rites, joint release, pranayama, and bhandas. You will learn how to teach a full yoga class that will be beneficial and loved by your students. By learning how to respond genuinely and with love and presence from Now instead of trying to make your students better or happier in some imagined future, you will touch your students deeply, whether they are in headstand or easy seated position. -- 5:30 Get up 6:00 Yoga/meditation 8:30 Breakfast 9:00 Work 10:30 Personal & group Well-being 11:30 Session Yoga/meditation 1:00 Lunch/Break 4:30 Guided Relaxation 5:30 Study Nutrition/Anatomy 6:30 Supper 7:15 Osho Discourse 8:15 Break 8:30 Meditation/yoga 10:00 Bed Time/night meditation
