Yoga with Dawn
Classes are an eclectic blend of traditional hatha yoga poses drawn from Iyengar, Vinyasa, Kundalini, and Viniyoga styles. Each class consists of a total mind-body workout including cardiovascular conditioning (sun salutations), strength building, balance, flexibility, and relaxation utilizing aromatherapy. Special emphasis is placed on using the breath and proper alignment to safely open and strenghten the body. Variations and modifications for most poses will be demonstrated to accommodate all levels of practice. Beginners always welcome!
Currently teach classes at the Cedar Hill Recreation Center and the Waxahachie YMCA. Also availible for group or individual instruction in the surrounding areas of DeSoto, Duncanvill, Ovilla, Midlothian, and Red Oak.
